Riverhead/North Fork Hair and Make up Rec's

Hi,
I'm getting married in June at the Vineyard Caterers on the North Fork in Aquebogue. This is actually a mini destination wedding as we're from Staten Island, so we're not too familiar with the area. I'm looking for either a salon in the area, or a team of hair and make up artists to come to the hotel (Best Western in Riverhead). I would prefer more than 1 stylist and 1 make up artist as besides myself, there are my 6 girls who need updo's and make up, and 4 older women who need more like a really good blow out rather than an updo and make up. I don't want to have to rush getting ready or start incredibly early either.
If anyone knows of any salons in the area or teams, any help is greatly appreciated.

I would look at the hair and makeup vendors on the site. Most of them are willing to travel. I can only think of 1 salon in riverhead and would not reccomend it. Is the best western on route 25?

i contacteda salon and they will come to you.. they were really nice. i am going to go for a trial with them, but basically everyone i contacted will come to you if they are based on LI. The salon is called Kenneth Richards. They have a makeup person too who will come. Another salon is called A Cut Above out there. They are in the same town as the VC's and their prices were very reasonable, but they wanted me to come to the salon and I didnt really want to do that. Call them both. They were very nice and their prices are competitive.

Both my hair person and makeup person would travel to you the day of. They will decide one who else to bring depending on the amount of people needing hair and makeup. I thought they were very reasonably priced and I cannot say enough about how amazing they were.

Check out My Wedding Hair and Makeup (vendor on here). Shab did my makeup and she works with Lauren for hair. Lauren is my regular hair person so I knew I was going to use her but she recommended Shab to me and I am so glad she did.
