Re: riveria
Congrats on booking your Hall. My fiance and I are getting married at the Riviera this December. With the two fireplaces, it is beautiful for Fall/Winter weddings. We have been to weddings there and have had a great time. If you have any questions, just ask!

Re: riveria
Jeane, I noticed you are using one of the photographers they recommend. I am planning to call them soon. Did you meet with all of them? I can't wait to hear about your wedding!!

Re: riveria
Yes, we booked Richard O'Connor for photography - we really loved his work. I had met with about six photographers and I kept coming back to Richard because of his pictures at the Riviera. We will be meeting with him again soon for our engagement pictures - I will let you know how they go.

Re: riveria
Please be careful with the Riviera. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade. I've been to two weddings there, one just recently. The coktail hour food was pretty good. Almost no one ate dinner because it just wasn't good. The groom's father was wondering why no one was eating.I've had the same experience both times. And as a matter of fact, this past time, a bunch of us were sick the next day.
If you do a search on here, you'll see things written up about them.

Re: riveria
It was your standard Prime Rib, Chicken Francese and Salmon. The waitstaff couldn't get over how much food was uneaten. Most people who I know that have been to the Riviera have all had the same experiences that I have, and we weren't at the same wedding.

Re: riveria wedding
Dear Planning Birdes -I just wanted to let ya'll know that I recently got married and had my wedding and reception at the Riviera in Massapequa. I have nothing but great things to say about them. Everyone at my wedding raved about the food. I liked my food as well even though I only had a little bit of it. If you have any direct questions regarding the Riviera, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] I'd be more than happy to answer anything at all.
For more information on the Riviera and my vendors, please see my July 4th, 2002 Wedding Review.
Happy planning all!
