Did anyone hear if they are getting or got new chairs? Also who are you dealing with there that you like? I only met once with an older man and I feel like I have no contact person there!

When we booked (this past September), we were told that they were getting new chairs this spring. We deal with Vicki. She is so sweet! We love the Riviera! They really make you feel special.
Is your reception going to be there?

I'm so excited to see another Riviera bride!! We just booked our wedding there a couple of weeks ago, but the wedding isnt for a while, its Saturday, November 3rd, 2007. I'm so excited. I've herd great things about The Riviera and I just cant wait. Anyway, I have met with Michelle twice. The first time to look at the place and the second time to book it. Michelle is great! Are you having your ceremony there? oh and as far as the chairs: Michelle told me they are planning on getting new chairs, i am not 100% sure but i think she said it would be the gold or bamboo back chairs.

I cant believe that there are not more Riviera brides. It is so beautiful there....and such a great deal. The people are so friendly and caring. I knew it was the place I wanted to have my reception the second that I set foot there. I am planning on having chair covers.....but can always decide not to have them if the new chairs are nice. The old chairs are/were not attractive....they were pink. We are having our ceremony at a church, but I would love to have it there. Its gorgeous!!! :)

Hey there fellow Riviera Brides! I was just there last night.. they don't have the new chairs yet, I ordered the chair covers. Michelle said she hopes to be getting them in soon.

I was told they'll be getting the new chairs in within 2 weeks. And as for the color, I think they're going to be very neutral. I hope they get in before the 26th -- I'd definitely rather have new chairs than pay extra for the chair covers.

Another Riviera bride here!! I'm having my ceremony and reception there in December. We booked in July '04. We've dealt with Michelle and Robert Jay (Robert Jay will be our Matre'd). They are all very nice. I believe they said they older guy doesn't really know much and not to deal with him. They are VERY nice there and go out of the way to help you. I'm actually going there this week to leave my 3rd deposit. Good Luck!! ~~Kim

Okay, Ladies, what do you want to know? I'm a Riviera bride and they were fantastic. I have been too busy (lazy) to write my review.
We dealt with Michelle, who was amazing. Robert Jay, our Maitre D' is one of the hardest working people I've ever seen. He even bustled my dress when my MOH had a little trouble!
The Riviera even threw in the chocolate fountain!!! (GET THAT IF YOU CAN!!!!)
We had our own waitress day of, who couldn't do enough for us. My experience with them could not have been better. Everything was PERFECT!!!!
