Is anyone else having their reception at the riviera in coney island??? Just curious =]

Not many of the girls on here know of it, but I do think there is a girl who is. In case you are looking for an opinion my older son had his wedding there and it was fabulous!! Everything was great from the food to the service to the music. We took some pictures on their very pretty outside balconey 'park' and they came out beautiful. So if you are having or thinking of having your wedding there you won't be disappointed it was wonderful. The only reason my other son didn't have his wedding there is because he didn't want people to think he was copying his older brother.

P.S. I just saw that you are having your wedding there. If you want a good DJ call Classie Sounds and ask for either Steve or Nick. They are the house DJ for both the Riviera and Russo's on the Bay and they are fabulous. Again not a lot of girls know of them on here but they are very well worth the money and IMO much better then Tommy Tunes.

If you are looking for a band, try Voices, located on 18th Avenue. They do DJ work as well. Voices.com Amazing group!
I love this hall - everything about - from the one wedding at a time, to the food, service - everything even the outside!!!

My cousin had her reception there and it was amazing!!!! Food was great, service was great - everything. I'm a Bk girl myself and thought I'd have my wedding there as well, but living in LI now for 2 years and found The Riviera of Massapequa. That's where we're getting married. Guess I like the name LoL :)

Yeah I fell in love with it the minute my fiance and I walked through the doors as well! We thought it was going to be much more expensive than it is. My challenge today was calling photographers/videographers. So many choices, I have no idea how to narrow it down. =[ Thanks for the heads up about the music though... we still need to look for dj's as well. We're getting married April 2011... I can't waittt!!

if your looking for vendors in Brooklyn, try Aldo Phot Studio. They have beenin business in Brooklyn for more than 50 years and have worked at the Riviera many times before so they know the location.!

For flowers look into June Florist on 18th Ave right off of 86th Street. Both my boys used them and the flowers were fabulous.

Ahhhhh finally I found other girls getting married at the Riv in Bklyn!!!! Im getting married there this April!! Cant wait I've heard nothing but GREAT things!!
