Hey ladies, I was just hoping to get some feedback regarding he Riviera at Massapequa. My fiancee and I looked around at a few places, and the last place, the Riviera, we fell in love with. It was important due to my FH's food allergies, esp. to peanuts, that we did a one event at a time venue, and do it affordably. This did meet all of our needs & wants but I don't know of anyone who's been to an event there in the last few years.
Anyway, before going to put our downpayment down in a few weeks, I was just wondering if anyone had their wedding/reception there or if any of you have gone to a wedding/reception there, and how it went.
Thanks :)

Re: Riviera at Massapequa
I've only heard good things about this place. I was originally going to have my wedding there, but the slots were an issue because they only do 1 event at a time. I wanted a place that would let me start taking pre-ceremony photos around 3:00, and Riviera said the earliest I could get there would be 5 because of the previous bride.
So, yes I loved the Riviera and people who have been to weddings or other events there have always loved it.

I <3 The Riviera. My guests had a blast. They were soooooooooo accommodating. They were fabulous. Nothing but raves about them but FM and ask me anything!

I went to a November wedding there. It was great except in my opinion was the cocktail hour. The area was way to small for the amount of people. It would have been better if it was outside but it was cold out.

I've been to several weddings there in the past few yrs. Although it is a pretty location, I wasnt overly impressed with the food.

My sister's wedding was there in March of last year. The place was beautiful and I thought the food and service were excellent!
