Riviera at Massapequa
We got married at the Riviera a few weeks ago, and while I am going to post a comprehensive review, I just wanted to say that Riviera girls, you have nothing to worry about. The day was AWESOME.
Michelle was our Maitre' D and she was great. We had 125 guests in attendance, and 13 tables, plus our sweetheart table, it was the perfect size for the room.
The food was amazing, our guests are still calling/emailing to tell me how great it was, especially the cocktail hour. While it didn't rain on our wedding day, it was very windy and Michelle didn't want to put the hot food outside for fear of the sterno's blowing out. This was a bummer, while I did my best to pull the guests outside, they weren't having it and only about 20% made it out to wear the cocktail hr guitarist was.
Other than that, things went really smoothly, we danced all night, actually managed to eat a little bit and in general just had a wonderful time. At the end of the night Michelle and her staff helped to quickly pack us up and we were on our way.
I hope those who are thinking about booking the Riviera check it out, we were so so happy that we got married there!
