Has anyone gone for a taste testing at the hall? If so, how was it done?

It wasn't the best. They put you in the room where you signed the contract. So you are eating on a desk. Not the most comfortable. They bring out a little bit of each item that is being served at the cocktail of the wedding going on right then. I was a little disappointed about the tasting but I loved the place.

I was curious if they do a tasting before your wedding also. We went for a bridal show where they served some food from the cocktail hour but not much. Certain things were very good and some were not great -- if you find out more, I'd love to know also!
Does anyone know if the bakery will do a tasting for the cake? How do you go about deciding on the cake?

I am going to drop off $$ this weekend so I will talk to whoever is there.
I'm not sure if you can do a testing at the bakery but my neighborhood bakery told me to insist on 1. So, I have to arrange that as well

Re: Riviera Brides
i just got married there. We didnt schedule a tasting , we received a call from the riviera saying that there was a bridal show, to come down and taste the food.. They set up the whole cocktail room with all the food and then desserts, plus they had vendors there and 2 dj's. If you are interested in the food call and see if they have any shows planned. I didnt have any problems with food during the wedding, everyone is still raving about it...... and everyone loved the hall, and how cozy it was.

I did the samething for the tasting, in the room you sign your contract. We thought it was weird but, loved the food and place. We also went to the Bridal Show they had and they had lot of food, even their desserts. Everything was good.
