Does anyone know how choosing the cake works? Did you deal with the bakery or the RH? Also, is there a cake tasting? TIA!!

yes, you can do either one. go to the bakery directly or just ask the riviera. that's what they told me - i have to look into this soon i guess.

I remember them saying that you can go to the bakery for a tasting and to discuss what you want.

We had our wedding at The Riviera....and the cake is included. We were given choices on cakes and fillings butter cream or whipped cream, and the colors. I think there is an limit on the cost of the cake. If you want something very exotic or different, You might have to go to Blackhouse or I don't remember what other bakeries they use. I have a pic of our cake in my album if you are intersted.

We went to Black Forest and discussed what we wanted. We ended up paying a little for real roses and red ribbon accents....it was an easy process.

My sister was married at the Riveira this past June. You will not be disappointed. I know she went for a food tasting...I do not remember her talking about a cake though
