Riviera in Brooklyn

Hi!

I just booked my wedding in Riviera Caterers tonight (for July 2011). I was just wondering if anyone else booked there and wanted to share their experience (either with booking or with a past wedding).
Also, one of my concerns (which I thought of when I got home) was that they told me I had to include my vendors (photographer, band, etc) as my guests. So if I have 130 person min, they would take up some of those spots. Does anyone find that weird?

Any opinions would be helpful.
Thanks!

congrats on the booking!!!! sorry never been to a wedding there, but usually what happens with vendors is that they are NOT counted toward meeting your minimum but you do have to pay for them, usually its only half price, i would call your bm and double check

Re: Riviera in Brooklyn

My older son had his wedding there and it was fabulous. The food was outstanding and the venue is so pretty. We took pictures out on the outdoor balconey and they came out so pretty. The only reason my younger son didn't have his wedding there was because he didn't want people to think he was copying his brother.
If you want a good DJ they both used Classie Sounds who is the house DJ for both the Riviera and Russo's on the Bay. Ask for Steve or Nick to be your MC....they were out of this world good.
So you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Congratulations.

Liz
