Hey guys~ I just wanted to see if anyone else has gone to either Royal Hideaway or Grand Xcaret in Mexico. We're pretty much set b/c we both are totally in love with what we know of them already, but if anyone has any info or PICS, I'd really appreciate it! I wanna know more before we book! Thank you!!

I have only stayed at the Occidental in Cozumel and it is amazing. We bought a timeshare thru them great place.

Yeah, I saw a few 'bad' ones on tripadvisor, but they were really more for GRand Xcaret, which we're going to after Royal Hideaway. But of course you're always gonna find a few bad ones, for the most part its very good
Just wanted to make sure though- FM me if you can with your package details for RH and which travel service you used! I'd love to know!

I was at Grand Xcarat. I was very happy with my trip. I hear that the Royal Hideaway is much more honeymoon like. Definately do a day trip to Xcarat park....it is so interesting and the hamock's are very relaxing!
It took us about 3 days to figure out Xcarat....it's a very very large hotel. There were many intertational visitors so we thought that was great. The pools are awesome. You are not right on the ocean on the resort....there is a man made beach but I really didn't mind. I might mind though if it's my honeymoon.
