I’m Getting married at the Riviera in Sept 2010 and just started looking at photographers – does anyone have any feedback positive or negative on the two that Riviera suggests – Patken and Lavender ?

Katie - I am in the same boat as you. I have read a lot of great things about Patken and about Duet (which is not included in the Riviera brochure).
If you get any info - I would greatly appreciate it and I will do the same as I go through this process too.
Right now I am going to start the process of looking into Patken and Duet. A friend of mine used Lavendar and she really liked them, I don't have much feedback other then that regarding them.

Hi Katie,
You can also use photographers that the Riviera does not necessarily 'recommend.' I would highly recommend looking into Perceptions Photography. They are only 2 miles away from the Riviera, and their work is STUNNING!

I got married at The Riviera this summer and used Thomas Paul for my photographer. The 2nd runner up was Duet.

HI we went with Patken they seemed nice I liked how they explained things Tina was very nice – I really didn’t like lavender he seems a bit full of himself - but he also kept us waiting for over a half hour so that always make s my FH a bit annoyed he hates waiting. Good luck with all your planning
