i went there and had a very good experience. the salespeople are not up your butt, which i liked. we went there to look at bp dresses, and they let us rummage through the racks and try the dresses on. they have a no frills program where you order the dresses yourself based on your own measurements. their prices are very competative and their alterations i've also heard are good.
we ended up going with Valentina's for our bP dresses b/c it ended up being cheaper for our Jim Hjelm dresses including alterations. Only cheaper by a few bucks.

Re: RK Bridal???
We used them for the BM dresses with the 'no frills' program. It was great! And if you have a relative that lives in Jersey - there is no sales tax! They cam pretty fast, too!

Re: RK Bridal???
I used them to order my BM dresses. With no frills program, I got the dresses for almost 100.00 dollars cheaper!
The dresses came to my house earlier than expected.

I know they carry the whole line of Jim Hjelm BM dresses, and they had the dress we wanted. If you have a specific designer in mind, call them up and ask if they carry it. Including alterations, Valentina's beat RK, netbride, Maid to Order, and gownfind.
Janie (SIBride06) is also getting her BM dresses from there.
Also, someone just recently ordered her wedding gown from them, i think it was Franksbride...

Re: RK Bridal???
I got my dress there and they did the alterations for me and everything has been great. Their prices are very good and the system they have for try-ons and fittings is great. I cannot say anything negative about my experience with them.
Also, at my 3rd fitting something still wasnt right and they fixed it while I was there and I got to try it on again so I didnt have to make a 4th trip back.

Re: RK Bridal???
I used them for the BM dresses - the no frills program. It was great bc all the girls lived in different areas and they could take them to be altered near them. All the dresses came very quickly - faster than they said it would take. They all looked beautiful.

Re: RK Bridal???
I got my dress from them - it was a great experience, better than the smaller shops that I started with. So far, the alteration process is running smoothly
But then, I went during my lunch hour. It might be really crowded on the weekends.

Re: RK Bridal???
I've been in there a couple times to check out BM dresses - I like that I can just walk in, pull the dresses off the rack, and try them on to see what they look like, without even having to talk with a salesperson, let alone have an appointment. I was also thinking of going with their No Frills deal, glad to hear it's worked well for others!

Re: RK Bridal???
I went there last week with a picture of a dress I was looking for. The salesgirl..Amber found it right away and she was so nice and easy to work with..very down to earth. The dress was $1000 less than anything else I've tried on so far and also my favorite. I may go back to buy it knowing that it was so much cheaper than anything else I've found and just as nice. It was La Sposa. I went on a Friday and it wasn't crowded at all but she told me it gets like a madhouse on the weekends. Hope this helps.

Basically it's just ordering the dresses - no assistance with measuring or ordering, no trying them on when they come in, and alterations have to be done elsewhere. The price differences were pretty substantial - the no frills prices for the 2 dresses I liked were $110 & $115 vs. $148 & $150. And the regular prices don't include alteration charges, which they say typically don't go over $65.
