Do they take appointments for Saturdays? Are they like any other bridal salon, where they will make suggestions?

RK Bridal doesn't take appointments. There's a sign up sheet, so when you walk in, sign up right away and then start picking out dresses. They allow you to take in only 5 on the weekends, because it's like a three-ring circus. After you pick your five dresses, you wait until they call your name. I went at 11AM on a Saturday in September, and I waited nearly an hour and fifteen minutes until I was called.

Generally, the assistants are helpful, and will make recommendations. I tried on a dress that I thought would look good on me, but the shape ended up cutting me in half, so the woman recommended a different style. But they won't help you go and find the dresses.

that place is a zoo! it's like a wedding dress warehouse. i would go there first thing in the AM on a weekday.

but it does so well b/c they have EVERYTHING!!!!!!
