RK BRIDAL

I am going to RK bridal this saturday can anyone tell me what to expect or what to do before hand etc Does someone help you try on dresses ?TIA

I went on a weekday so I dont know if its different from a weekend. They have a waiting area and a little book you put your name in. Then you wait and whoever is going to help you calls you up. And they assist youo to find dresses and try them on.

I went during the weekday also. I hear the weekends there are REALLY busy. If I were you I'd try to go during the week.

The process Songstress explained is pretty much how it was for me also.

Definitely get there EARLY and get your name on the dressing room list. It can take hours if you wait too long. I know for the bridesmaid dresses they were only given 30 minutes to try things on. I am sure it's longer for brides, but I don't know how long. Definitely have in mind some dresses that you want, maybe bring pictures and style numbers. Have a few in mind b/c if you try one on that you thought you loved in the picture that you don't like when you try it on, you are going to need other options and you don't want to have to go searching again in the big selection that they have for something.

Definitely know before hand what you want, and what you may want if they don't have what you originally wanted? lol Just saves time you know? But get there as early as possible :)

I ordered my BM dresses from RK. I always went during the week with my BMs. There was never any wait. This past Saturday I went with a BM for her wedding, which I am a BM for. It was CRAZY. There was a sign in sheet for the dressing rooms and it was really long. We ended up just measuring ourselves and placed the order since the majority of her BMs already tried the dress on.

The most important thing is to get your name on the list. Once it's on the list, start looking for dress shapes that you like. Pick out a few so that when its your turn, the person assigned to you has an idea of what you might like.

My first time was on a Saturday and I picked out and bought my dress on the first try.

If you have no idea of the styles that you like, RK might be a little overwhelming.

Don't expect the kind of time, attention and extravagance you've seen if you watch Say Yes to the Dress.

Hi! I got my dress my RK Bridal. While they don't pamper you like other places, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a ton of dresses so it can be a bit overwhelming at first. But don't worry there are plenty of girls that can help you and answer your questions. My bridal attendant was Janice. She is was so helpful and very sweet. I just went on Tuesday to pick up my dress. She gave me a big hug! lol If you are going on a weekend....get there EARLY!

I went during the week alst week and i'm going again tomorrow night with my MOH. I waited a little bit- wasn't too bad. The store is kinda big, but all the racks are labeled by the designer's name so it was easy to find things. while i waited to try on dresses i got to look at all the BM's dresses. my dressing room was huge and they are very helpful there. Definitly bring pics or a list of the gown #'s you want to try on. If it's busy you only get to try on a certain # of dresses.

one word MADHOUSE. I went on Saturday what a nightmare. When they call your name you only have 30 mins to try on BM gowns. Every 5 mins the person in charge of the rooms tells you how much time you have left. IF you can go during the week or maybe get out a little early from work you will have a much enjoyable experience. I took a dayoff during the summer just so I could look around there in peace

I went on a Sat and it was crazy. The first thing you do is sign in (in the back of the store). Then go and pick out 6-8 dresses and put it on the rack, tie it together with a colored string they give you to mark that it's yours selection. Hopefully when you're done, a fitting room will be available. Bring someone with you to help carry your dresses. There will be someone helping you in the fitting room. They say no cameras but my sis used her cell phone. Have fun and good luck!

i actually went during a sale they had on a sunday and i didnt wait at all...i thought i was going to but i walked in put my name on the list and found like 5 dresses a sales lady actually came up to me and asked me if i was ready i said yes and that was it...i def recommend going during the sale i got an awesome deal
