RK BRIDAL

Well I just wanted to post my experience with RK and I will try to stick to the facts.

Both MOB and MOG ordered their dresses months ago from RK, they both worked with the same sales lady. MOG went to try on her dress last week and it did not fit correctly. She was told the dress was cut wrong and they needed to order another. OK, freaking out..but we were okay, we were told the dress would come in in another week.

Next MOB goes on Thursday, and the SAME THING HAPPENED! there was a 3 inch difference in the dress! I was shocked, RK was accomodating at first, because it was their mistake. however they did get a little rude towards the end, telling my mom she had to buy a sample dress because there is no time to order a new one!! Luckily, we found a dress and it is beautiful!!

Fast forward MOG goes yesterday to get her reordered dress, and it STILL DOES NOT FIT! They keep saying it was cut wrong! I have no idea how this happened twice! Regardless, MOG was very upset and left the store...


I feel so bad for the mothers this should be a good time and it is so stressful!

OMG that's crazy!!! What MOB and MOG dress designers are they? anyway of contacting the company directly?

I used RK for my BM dresses and everything has been fine, they all picked up their dresses and the sizes were correct but mistakes do happen so I can totally understand where you are coming from.

I hope everything works out for both moms, it can be so frustrating

I'm sorry to hear that, I've been hearing bad reviews about RK Bridal in the city. I'm wondering if you went to the RK Bridal in the city? I personally worked with RK Bridal for DH's tux in the Jamaica location in Queens. I can't say enough great things about the sales mgr. He was very courteous and friendly and confirmed the pick-up for the tux a week before our wedding. They also do wedding planning and services from photography to rentals there. I would def future brides to go to the Queens location. Avoid the weekends though, it can get extremely packed.
I would report the location to BBB if the management can not correct the issue for BM's dress. Brides to be should not have to tolerate and deal with this kind of ordeal for their wedding.

I did go to the one in the city... both mothers ended up getting up new dresses... i was just unhappy with the service!
