RK Bridal and Price Matching

I understand that RK Bridal does price matching. I already found a bridal shop that would charge less than RK does for a certain gown. Now...if I do order the dress from RK with the price matching, are they going to call the specific store and tell them that they are checking up on the price because they would like to match the price??? How does RK verify the price with the other shop???

I will feel really bad if the bridal store that is willing to give me the dress for a lot less gets a call from RK and realizes that I was never going to order from them anyway. I wouldn't want to order directly from the other bridal shop because they have gotten bad reviews, but I would still feel bad and almost like I'm using them or something!

I believe they also price match bridal shops. That's what they told me when I called. They said if I find the dress at another store for less then they will match the price.

They also price match online stores but you wouldn't get measured at RK and they wouldn't do the alterations.

I got my BM dresses at RK and did price match at the store!

I would get in writing an estimate for the dress from the other store. That way RK doesn't have to call. I am pretty sure they want to see something in writing anyway. Also try looking online -- are there any stores that match the best price you found. Maybe you can do it that way and not involve the store to begin with. I found the best price for my BM dresses online.
