RK Bridal Question

I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding in August. The bride ordered our dresses from RK Bridal.
I went there in May to get measured (took 2 minutes) and gave them an $80 down payment (i was told by the bride that the dress is $180) .

My understanding is that i only have to pay $100 more dollars. What i wanted to do is pick my dress up when it comes in, pay the rest for the dress, and bring it to a family friend to get altered..the bride told me that i already paid for alterations..Soooo now im confused. Any RK Bridal brides out there to help me understand. I believe they're closed today so i cant call.

Thank you so much!

Re: RK Bridal Question

No, alterations are additional.

What your bride is referring to is that you paid for the full service. The full service is when they measure you and you can use their seemstress for alterations but that is additional cost.

They have a 'no Frills' option where you pay a lower price for the dress, but they won't measure you and you can't use their seamstress.

You will need to pay the remaining $100 and you should be able to get your alterations anywhere you want.
