I have tried on wedding gowns at RK Bridal. I was just wondering if it's the same process when you go look for BM dresses (choose 7 gowns and then get called by a consultant who helps you try them on). Is BM dress shopping at RK the same process as wedding gown shopping?? TIA!
it's totally different. if you go during an off time, no one bothers you. you're allowed to try on as many dresses as you want and browse as you wish. During busy times, they limit your time in the fitting room to 30 mins.
I tried on bridal and bridesmaid and it's very different when trying on bridesmaid. You don't have to tie up your dresses like bridal. Unless maybe on weekends they do that I think the service on both ends wasn't up to par. But bridal is definitely better. We went during the week when it was less chaotic, but the service wasn't any better in my opinion. We didn't have any help from the workers. It seemed like they could care less. They told us they didn't have any clips for the dresses. So you have to hold the dress up and figure out how the style will look without clips. If you want good customer service then I would try a more intimate bridal shop. Hopefully you will have a more positive experience. But it may be worth it for you because of the cheaper no frills option. Goodluck!
I went on a weekend to try on bm dresses and the line was so long that we ended up trying the dress we wanted at another store. They have less dressing room for bridesmaids and we did have to put our name on a list- I think it's different on a weekday though.
