What are the main differences? There is some overlap in the designer they carry. What's the difference in terms of prices, layout of the store, organization, etc.

Re: RK Bridal vs Designer Loft
I've only been to Designer Loft and had a very nice experience there. A lot of variety in terms of price points and dresses. The sales staff is helpful w/being pushy. They also let you pick out the dresses on your own rather than going into the back to look for you, which is a refreshing change. It can be a tad disorganized, but nothing too bad.

Re: RK Bridal vs Designer Loft
I got my dress at RK Bridal. I have never been to Designer Loft, but at RK its a help yourself type of shop. Meaning the dresses are all out and you go around and take the dresses you want to try on. A consultant helps you once you are in a dressing room to try the dress on and makes suggestions, but its not like a Kleinfeld's or a full service type of bridal salon. MY advice is to go there with pictures of dresses you like and the names of the designers, even if you have a particular dress in mind, the style name or # will help as well. They have HUGEEEE selection and INSANELY great prices =) I got my Paloma Blanca there.
I have had nothing but a POSITIVE experience with them so far (knock on wood!) Anytime I call with questions they are very helpful and the owner or manager Reed is SOOO patient and sweet. I would reccomend ALSO when you go IF its a weekend GO VERY early, like as soon as they open and be the first one because it gets packed VERY quickly.

Re: RK Bridal vs Designer Loft
I've been to both and actually got my BMs dresses at RK. Here are what I think are the differences. RK bridal is very much a no frills kind of place, don't expect Kleinfelds because they certainly arent, but if you go on a weekday they are pretty helpful-- forget weekends, its like a madhouse. Its almost like a warehouse for bridal/BM dresses. You have to mostly fend for yourself. However, if you find a dress you love, their prices are amazing and they match online pricing.
Designer loft is almost the exact opposite of RK-- its a much smaller store and you really get one on one attention. Its got this cozy, warm like atmosphere and everyone is really nice. I know they have a range of pricing.
