Does anyone know if RK does alterations if you buy the dress there? I am 90% sure I found THE dress.... and was thinking of buying it at RK for convenience (work close by). However, if they don't do alterations, I'll consider a place closer to home. Anyone know?

from what i remember they do. and i think there is a cap. i dont remember the details tho....call them

they do alterations, i believe the most it will be is $60.
honestly, i had a bad experience there.. i had to go back three different times for them to fix my bm dress for my sisters wedding last year and in the end it still wasn't right... it was too big, then too tight, then too big & in the end i was so fed up i just took it and left (i had to keep leaving work early to go there bc the seamstress is only there on certain days).. the women i was dealing with did not understand me when i kept telling her how i wanted it to sit on me... i swear she kept doing the opposite of what i told her & they completely destroyed my mothers dress that she was in tears a week before the wedding.. luckily we know a woman from the neighborhood who did her magic on it and fixed it for my mom
& they did this with a couple other dresses i know of as well.... my advise.. buy the dress there and take it somewhere else to get altered

I think it just depends on who you get. My mother go her dress at RK for my brother's wedding and they were more than helpful with getting the dress to fit her just right. She is a full figured woman and they took special time on the bodice to make sure all the beading was perfect.
