RK Bridals?

RK Bridals?

I've been hearing pretty good things about them and I was just looking to hear some of your opinions. I'm trying to look for a budget friendly dress ($1200 or under). Think that'll be easy to find there?
Also, feel free to recommend any other places on the island that have a selection of inexpensive dresses, besides david's bridal of course. They're already on my list of places to go. TIA!!!

I got a bridesmaids dress for my friend's wedding from there. It looked like they had a huge selection of wedding gowns low priced. Good luck!

I went shopping there once when looking for dresses and I had a good experience. And you can definitely find a dress well under than budget. They only downfall of the place is that you have to search for your own dresses and you have to wait on a long line for a dressing room (depending on what time you go). But when I went, the line wasn't too too bad and I kinda liked looking for dresses on my own.

Also, depending on the time/day of week they will limit the amount of dresses you can try on because of the other girls waiting for a dressing room.

ITA. But I would also add that the dresses are organized by designer and are packed extremely tightly into the racks and in plastic bags. It's really hard to tell what the dress looks like until you go through the trouble of pulling it off the rack. I wouldn't personally go to RK Bridal unless I had a few specific dresses or at least a specific designer in mind. Also, definitely try to go during the week if you can- weekends are insane there!

ETA: I'm not sure where you live, and I know Patchogue is a trek from the city, but I purchased my dress from Paradise Bridal and they had LOTS fo gowns under $1k. I think they even had a whole room just of gowns under $1k.

rk was the first place i went and i got my dress there! they definitely have a lot of budget friendly dresses as long as you don't mind looking through the racks yourself and waiting in line for a dressing room then you'll enjoy it!

I got my dress there...I paid $710 and i loved it. But the alteration is 350 which I think It is expensive.

You have to get there before 5:30pm to be able to try the dresses

I got my Dress there and the BM's dresses there. I have had no problems so far. You will definitly fimd a dress under that. My dress was in 3 weeks after ordering it. And the BM dresses are due in 2 weeks so i am waiting for the call anyday now as i hope they are in early too.
Just have an idea of what you want as you cant really see the dresses on the rails because they are so tightly packed. I worked with Jo and she was so helpful. Go in during the week when it is not a busy and you will get more attention and more time than the 1 hour slot.

you can find lots of dresses within your budget in many salons. maggie sottero makes quite a few within that amount.

got our BM dresses there for my sisters wedding.. very large selection & good prices but i had a nightmare with their alterations department.. in the end the dress was perfect, but having to go to the city 4 times for fittings and not being able to get the dress until 6 days before the wedding was a little nerve racking

I actually work within walking distance from Paradise Bridal so I'm pretty sure I'm adding them onto my list of places to go. I have to keep an open mind and try anything and everything if I'm going to find my perfect dress! haha Thank you guys sooooooo much for all the advice
