ROBBED!!!!!

My house just got robbed. MY father for the first time in like 20 years didn't go to work today because he was sick. So he went to the doctor. & while he was at the doctor they broke into my houe and cleaned it out!!!!!
i have been crying since i found out. I had so many things that had so much sentimental value to me.. all my jewlery form my FH.... all the gifts for my bridal party...there for 2k down the drain... i dont think much cash was taken but i can assure you that lots of diamonds are missing from my house, if they hit my jewlery box they got them...

I am so sorry - that is terrible!

What happens in this case? I am not home now my dad is and he is there talking to the detectives so i wont know what is missing until i get there. Will it be too late to tell them later. I can't leve work becasue i am alone here , like i said my dad didnt come in.. what do i do... im flipping out here.

OMG! Im so sorry that happened to you and your family! Thank goodness that nobody was home and nobody was injured. Just try and calm down, write a list of what was taken and the approximate cost. Give this to the detectives so that everything is in the report and make sure your Dad calls the homeowners insurance company.

That's an aweful thing to happen but again remember nobody was injured. Big HUGS & SMOOCHES to you!!!

Was the jewelry specifically listed on the Homeowners policy?? If not, there is really nothing they can do with that stuff. But, I would still make a list of everything when you get home. Don't panic now.

I am soooo sorry to hear that!! I was robbed a couple of years ago! I left the house at night and came back in the morning to find all the doors open..all the windows open (the detectives said they do that to hear for cars coming) and the whole house was trashed!! You have to make a list of all the things you see missing and see your insurance will cover it! U made need to show proof though.. its a horrible feeling! I felt like I was rapped almost! I am sooo sorry! I hope your dad is ok.. is he there alone?

That how I feel....violated.... my dad is fine , he is there with my step mom and my FH was on his way there too (he must be there by now). Im thanks ful that noone was home and noone got hurt but its just weird becasue someone is always home at my house so they must have been watching it. I dunno I just know I feel crappy!
