Rolling Pin Bakery: comments anyone?

Rolling Pin Bakery: comments anyone?

They are the Danford's bakery. I remember long ago some not-so-nice things were said about them, mostly in terms of them not returning phone calls, not cake quality.

Has anyone used them recently, either for their wedding or other event?

Thanks!

I just responded to your FM but anyway, Dave the owner & baker was phenomenal!! He was really great when we met with him - I have 27 million different ideas of what I wanted (Tim didn't care as long as CHOCOLATE was involved!).

People RAVED about how yummy the cake was!! And I'm just excited about getting a recreation of our cake for our one year anniversary for free!

I had no contact issues with him but frankly, I called him, made an appt, we met & that was pretty much it. I think I followed up with an email after we met.

(He did our cookie trays too)

I don't know about the quality or not returning phone calls or anything but I did email them some questions and they responded back the next day and answered all of my questions, I'm looking forward to tasting their cake!

I think they are Giorgio's baker. I was at a friend's wedding where they had chocolate cake with raspberry filling and it was deliscious!!!! The cake was also gorgeous!

What kind of cake did you get? They're the bakery for the Bellport Country Club, and I'm still trying to decide what I want. Any suggestions?
