Rolling Pin is a popular bakery. I'm using them, but I haven't had my wedding yet. Would love to see some Rolling Pin cakes as well, actually.

Rolling Pin Bakery- They are the vendor for a lot of places. I am just curious to see some of their cakes. I went through some of the brides reviews but a lot of people don't have pics. I jsut wanted to see some pics and maybe hear how much extra people had to pay for things.

I'm in love with that ribbon look, too! I am dying to also know if they charged you anything extra. Since my wedding colors are gold, ivory and eggplant, and I wanted a gold icing (leaves) to be painted on the cake, we're being charged extra.

we are using them because they are the vendor at the VYC! i spoke to the guy David...and he said to email him a picture of what we want...and he will write me back and see if an upgrade is required!
i really hope we dont have to pay more...but it seems like they are able to pretty much make whatever you want!
i might even see if they can do the grooms cake as well that way i dont have to go to a separte bakery for that!!
this is a picture of the cake that im going to email the guy and hopefully he can make it just like that with no charge concidering the cake is including in our contract with the VYC!
the only thing we want to add to the cake is a white ribbon around the bottom of each layer!!
We spoke to the Rolling Pin guy at an East Wind showcase. Cake was delicious. He said if we wanted a ribbon, just buy whatever ribbon we want (i.e. from Michael's) and drop it off for him ahead of the wedding, and it's no extra charge.

david is pretty cool...i want a cheesecake wedding cake with chocolate ganache outside and he said that is totally doable. It is an extra fee to set it up but we can have it! He sent me a picture of the specific cake stand he would have it on and everything.
