Rolling Pin Samples

I did my cake tasting yesterday!! I picked up 6 samples!

The winners in our book:

Marble with Rasberry Mousse
Vanilla with Chocolate Mousse
Chocolate with Rasberry Mousse!

We also tasted:

Cannoli Chocolate Chip (My FH was disappointed)
Red Velvet (I was disappointed)
Banna Custard (It was just basic)
The chocolate pudding was delicious but we liked the mousse better.

I have to say overall the raspberry was the big winner! Hope this helps all you brides to be!! For anyone who used them what flavors did you chose?

I was so looking forward to the canoli chocolate chip! I can't wait to order my samples!

You may like it! It was mixed reviews But I don't really like canoli so I am a bad judge! But FH wasn't thrilled. My mom and best friend liked it though!

Thanks for the review. FH and I were just talking about ordering our samples. Now we know which to avoid and can choose from the remaining flavors.
How about the cakes themselves? Which did you like better, vanilla, chocolate or marble?

Be careful with cakes from Rolling Pin. Yes, they are delicious but their work is not always good. This is the picture of what I ordered in 2011 and what I got.

Rolling Pin Samples - Long Island Weddings

Just did my tasting this weekend! You inspired us! We are also using rolling pin. Our favorite was chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse. FH was happy because he a chocolate freak. I also liked the raspberry mousse but we just agreed more so on the white chocolate!
