Does anyone have any suggestions for a restaurant on long island that is both romantic and relaxing? In the Stonybrook area preferably, but any suggestions would be so helpful. Thanks everyone in advance!

Not in Stonybrook area, but just this past Saturday we had a WONDERFUL dinner at Europa at the Chateau Briand. Excellent food...not to mention great music and dancing too! I would also recommend the restaurants at Westbury Manor & Fox Hollow too!

There is an AMAZING restaurant called south shore on 112....me and FH go there every year for our anniversary. Very romantic and relaxing. They have a piano player and they have certain dinner perpared tableside by the owenr in a tux...sooo nice.

The Carriage House or Three Village Inn ~ Both are in Stony Brook. Also, in Port Jeff Village is Pasta, Pasta and Pace's Steak House - Both are very good. I would recommend reservations for all three places.

Country House in Stony Brook is supposed to be good but I've never been there
H20 in Smithtown(?) is AWESOME if you like seafood
Portico is very nice in Pt Jeff

I really like Pasta, Pasta - it is a cute place with good food Also Blackbeard's in St James. It isn't much to look at from the outside, but the inside is quite cute and FH loves the seafood there

LOVE Pasta Pasta!!!!
Elk St. Grille is also quite nice, and I believe they have live music (jazz, I think) some nights.

Three Village Inn is great and it has this great table for 2 right near a fireplace and the view is of the water!

I agree I love this place very warm, romantic! and the food is yummy! their cornbread is good too
