I've been to Italy twice now; first time was a tour, second time was to study. I can't remember the tour I used since it was so long ago (my grandmother took me).
Perrillo I think is expensive. I would google something.
But I've been to the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, The Coliseum, Pompei and there are so many things to do.
Did you think of using a travel agent?

I did a Globus Tour to Italy 3 years ago. I'm not sure if you wanted a full tour vacation or just some recommended day tours.

I took a two week contiki tour of Italy. Its for 18-35 year olds. Highly recommend it.
