Re: Ron James Orchestra

i have never responded before today. I found this website after my wedding, but have been a constant reader. I wrote to chmlengr last year when i read that she was getting married at the Sans Souci, just to answer any questions she had. But when I read this post, I felt compelled to write. I used the Ron James orchestra for my wedding and they were indeed fantastic. They aren't very known and I haven't seen a post on them since I have been here, but I just wanted to say that they were excellent!!!!

Re: Ron James Orchestra

My fiance and I looked at Ron James Orchestra and really liked them. They were very talented and seemed like nice people. In the end we went with Timepiece, but it was a close call.

Re: Ron James Orchestra

They are very well known and respected in Westchester - I have been to two RJ weddings one band was amazing the other was ok (but I honestly think it was the songs that the couple picked) - sorry I don't know which of their bands I saw.

I think they'll send you a cd if you call so you can hear them for yourself.

Re: Ron James Orchestra

If memory serves me correct, I think it was around 5000-5500. It would have been lower, but I wanted someone to play during the cocktail hour and I also wanted continuous music. There was never a break in the music- during the courses there were always at least two people playing dinner music.
By the way, you can see them practice in their studio on Long Island- I think its New Hyde Park.
