Ok- I am going to take the high road and apologize for the comment. Clearly, I hurt your feelings and that was not my intention. It was a joke and I did not mean to insult you or your family. I should not be on this board anyway as my wedding is over and I do not have time for these boards in general.

Hi Theresa. I read the post you are refering to and I really don't think Verdila meant it how you took it. My sister in law is friends with her, we found out recently. She is a very nice girl. I don't think she meant to offend you or your family. I just think she made an innocent comment, that some people would have taken with a grain of salt and laughed about.

Although I think Verdila’s comment was a bit insensitive, I do think she really meant it as a joke. I totally understand why it wasn’t taken that way and why you were upset Theresa. But I do think that she feels bad for what she did and has made several apologies. I think we have all said things that we regret and wish we could take back but unfortunately, that is not possible so the only thing we can do is apologize and hope to be forgiven. Vedila shouldn’t be banished from this site for one mistake. We are always saying that we are a close and loving group here so couldn’t you try to forgive and move on.

But No I can't forgive someone who made a direct insult to my family and my economic situation.! No one talks about my family joking or not.. They are my whole life and I don't care what anyone says!
The only reason why she said she was sorry is bc she got attacked by many others!
