I am struggling with choosing room blocks near Lands End. The Hyatt will do it for $159 a night. The Holiday Inn will do it for $139. The Marriot Courtyard said $129 but they won't hold more then 20 rooms and I think I am going to need between 30-40 rooms. The courtyard said after 20 we have to renegotiate rates and they charge us to keep the bar open after our midnight reception. The Hyatt is so much nicer then the other places, especially as a place to spend our wedding night, but $159 seems high for to ask of a lot of my friends. What do you guys think? Anyone have suggestions of other places to look?

I blocked all the room's at the Land's End Motel. I think they have 14-15 rooms. I can't remember for sure. I am going to try to save those for my immediate family and bridal party. I am pretty sure we are going to block additional rooms at the Marriot Courtyard or the Holiday Inn. At the moment, I am unsure how many additional rooms we will need. I think as long as people have a place to spend the night, they won't notice the difference between the Hyatt and the other two!

My rooms are blocked at $159 a night... I don't think it is too much. And I have gone to weddings where they block at 2 different hotels. You can always do that and give people a choice.
