Roomba

OMG I love Roomba!! My FH just got one today because he has (finally) admitted that he doesn't vacuum, or rather that he does not have any ambition to vacuum. He got the Scheduler so that we just set up when it will go and it does it all by itself! Now we will always have vacuumed floors!!

And for any Rooma users out there, we named it Dory (like the fish in Finding Nemo) because it goes off in one direction, bumps off a wall and goes in another direction, just A.D.D.ing itself all over the place

I got my mom a Roomba earlier this year (vacuuming is just getting hard for her). I didn't anticipate the entertainment it would provide (mom's not really a technophile)! She talks to it like it's a pet. And she keeps setting up the virtual walls, but forgetting to turn them on, so Roomba will go places it's not supposed to. All of a sudden my mom will start yelling 'Roomba - what are you doing????' Then she'll run into the room it's in and start chastising it like it's a pet or a child. It is really, really funny!
