roomblock cancellation policy

anyone else have a roomblock cancellation policy? Like you have to pay 50% of the rooms reserved if you completely cancel the roomblock? Just wondering if this is the norm even though I have no intention to cancel

Mine doesn't have that. I have heard of that though. I dont know how common/uncommon it is. if you dont plan on cancelling it, I wouldn't worry about it. if you dont book the # of rooms they blocked though will they charge you?

i mean, if you dont cancel it, but no one books rooms, do you get charged?? its not like you cancelled...

There is no penalty if the rooms are not booked...they just get released so the general public.

im not required to pay for unused rooms, but me and my family and some BMs will def be using the rooms so there will def be rooms booked... it's only if I cancel 45 days prior to, or after the cut off date. I think if I canceled lke a few months out its ok.

yes - we are responsible for 60% of our rooms that we blocked. (so basically 6 out of every 10 rooms you block. the fox hollow blocks in quantities of 10.)

we already filled the percentage with immediate family and grandparents, including the suite for Fh and I. so even in the rare occassion that not 1 OOT guest books, we are still good.
