I'm afraid I have to have root canal, and I'm in my second trimester. Has anyone else had this done while pregnant? What precautions did you take? Help!

Oh no! That doesn't sound fun What did your dentist say? Did they take xrays while you were pg, or did you know you needed the root canal before? I don't know much about anesthesia, but if it's localized, I guess it won't go into your blood? I would just make sure and check with your OB, and ask the Dentist tons of questions so that you feel safe about your decision. Good luck.
