Root canal--Yuck!

Went for a root canal today---This is like the 7th I ahve had done (had a bad car acident almost 10 years ago and had 4 done then!!)

I had it done at 11:00 and the Novocaine JUST wore off at 7,,,and its hurting It was done great, it looks great, but I HATE the healing/feeling better process

Anyways, just felt like venting a lil bit....

i feel your pain, ive had many root canals and i just had a dental implant put in last year. eat lots of ice cream and make hubby kiss the boo-boo. feel better!!!

I'm with you. I had 2 root canals this past year alone, and I too am going in for a dental implant to replace a missing tooth. Pretty soon I won't be lying when I say I flash my million dollar smile!!

i feel your pain.. i have had 3 root canals myself .. the first one was 5th grade..

Wow! Did not know so many people had so many root canals! Not only have I had the root canals, ahve had the posts and crowns to go with them, so I really do have an expensive smile..still have a few things to get done (that you can see---in the front!) But goal is to get it all done NOW so when the wedding comes NEXT YEAR< will not have to worry about that!!! I have finally found a dentist I ABSOLUTELY LOVE>.he is young, and he is smart, and up with the times...not like my 63 year old OLD dentist who ALWAYS HURT...and made me FEAR the dentist..this guy has renewed my faith!!

holly.. the root canal in 5th grade i had to have a cap put on ... it hurt soooooo much when the metal pushed into my gums.. the novicane definately wasnt working then... it scarred me for the next rootcanal.. but then i didnt need a cap and was 'plesantly surprised' that it was less painful
