Re: rose petal cone question/etiquette?
We got married in a Church so it was obvi impossible for us to know how many people would be at our ceremony (and therefore impossible to know the exact # of cones).
Instead of doing cones we filled up two beautiful baskets with petals and I asked 2 of my aunts to circulate around the mass of people gathering outside the church! We had a packed house at the church and there was a wall of petals as we walked out!
We don't have our pro proofs yet and these 2 pics don't do it justice! I am hoping our photog got awesome shots of this moment!
good ? im not sure but im planning on doing that also...and im thinking im gonna do silk autumn leaves since its our theme

Re: rose petal cone question/etiquette?
I had about 80 for a wedding guest list of 165 so about half... There were definitely not 80 people at the church so it probably came to about 1pp.

i'm doing ceremony and reception at the same place so i think pretty much the # of people at the ceremony will be the # at the reception.... so still half?

Re: rose petal cone question/etiquette?
We used pouches from Michael's to put the rose petals in and they were put on each guest's chair before the ceremony.
