Heyy does anyone know where I can get about 2000 red rose petals for cheap? Real ones not the silk petals....I checked www.fiftyflowers.com and they had 6000 for $139 but I didn't need that many...its a good price though..k let me kno of any places were I can get the petals from..thanks

My florist quoted me $150 for two baskets of rose petals for tossing at the church... If we provided the baskets, it would only be $100. I thought that was outrageous, but I might have to go with them anyway...
If I want the petals in bags or cones, I just have to provide the cones and they'll fill them at no extra charge. I just thought $100 was quite a bit just for rose petals...

ya that is a lot!! My florist includes them automatically for the flower girl and then just gives some to us for spreading them on the tables if we want.

Well I would assume a gallon bag would be more than enough for scattering along tabletops and runners. If you're unsure. you could ask their customer service because I am sure they get questions like that all the time-they cater to weddings. Or you could ask a florist approximately how many petals would you get per head of a rose because on the site it says each bag is approximately equal to 20 heads.

Which is why I suggested asking the florist the equivalents. They would know about how many heads equates amounts for different functions.

I'm doing a thick spread of petals down the middle of my long, oval tables....I was told that would take about 15 roses worth of petals...

SM-what I suggested was trying to be a bit sneaky and find out from a florist approximately how many heads or roses (they pick off the petals) it would take for you to achieve your desired effect. Onlinewholesalers has them really cheap. I posted the link in an earlier post in this thread.
