Rose Petals

Rose Petals

Are artificial rose petals tacky? I was thinking of ordering them for my guests to throw if I decide to have anything thrown at all.

i honestly dont like them. why not use real petals? florists will usually give you a good deal on them.

Yea, I don't really like them either. I'm not using a florist because I'm not having flowers at the wedding. My FMIL suggested using them so I was just giving it a thought. I really don't like them though.

I know most florists will give you the extra/debri petals from your arrangements and bouquets for this purpose. Since you are not using a florist, maybe you can still visit one and see what you can arrange with them, maybe get a bunch of petals for a small charge. I don't really think fake petals are the best... you can tell they are fake so easily. Good Luck!

I wouldn't, since it isn't biodegradable, and therefore not great for the environment.

Not a fan of the fake petals, i think it takes away from the elegance of the wedding...Why not do bubbles or ribbon wands instead if you dont like real flower petals...
