Rose petals-silk or freeze dried

Im having my e-pty in about a month. For centerpieces, I play to use a pillar candle in a hurricane vase with sand and maybe shells or rocks on top.

I want to add flower petals around the table.

Should I use freeze dried petals or silk petals?

I am actually doing the same centerpiece for my wedding and the lady doing my flowers is just using fresh petals, I didnt even think to do freeze dried...im just not a fan of the silk ones.

I found the pillar candles from a guy on ebay. He is selling them for .99 each! The size of them are 2x6

Thanks for the link!

Does anyone know what kind of rose petals to use in water because that website said to not use freeze-dried... will silk work? I was thinking of having floating rose petals and candles as part of my CP.

That link is very helpful! I was thinking of doing freeze dried petal cones so that they will match out blue hydrangeas, I think it wouldbe difficult to find real hydrangea petals. I love these...

Does anyone know how long the freeze dried petals will last? Would it be ok to buy them now for August?
