Re: Roseanna Amador?

I have to tell you girls when I went to Roseanna I was really expecting a lot. When I got there I showed her a bunch of pictures and nothing she did resembeled the hair in the picutres. I feel like when I went she pressures me into buying the hair extensions she makes and that's why my hair didnt look like the pics. She kept on adding extensions and kept trying to convince me that I needed more extensions. I have thick hair to beghin with I really don't need them (other stylists have told me this on other trials). So I would be really careful with her pricing because the prices might seem good on her website but she then might convince you that you need her hair extensions that can cost about 250 for a half a head and god only knows how much for a full head. While I was there she also tried to sell me on her tiaras and DOJ which was not what I was looking for in a hair stylist. When I look at that trial compared to the others I have gone on it just looks like SO much hair.

Wow I'm really surprised about that. I went for a trial and she didnt push any extentions or jewlery on me. I didnt have anyting like that experience when I went.

I wish I would have had a better experience, I did a lot of research before I went for my trial. Did you have an updo? Maybe she pushed them on me because I wanted half up and hald down. The jewelry wasn't so bad it was more the hair, she kept on telling me how much better I looked with it and that it didn't look right without it.

I'm doing an updo so maybe thats why she didnt say anything about the extentions.

My friend had her for her wedding in Nov and loved her so thats why I went to her

I'm using her. I walked in with the expectation that I wanted extensions because my hair isn't as long and full as I would like. She didn't push the hair jewelry on me at all but I loved that she had things there to try on because I didn't buy anything yet. She actually recommended that I didn't buy anything prior to the trial so that I could see what different things looked like.

I have to say I've had a good experience with her so far. Last week I e-mailed her a simple question about adding additional people to the contract and the cost. instead of e-mailing me back she personally called me. She was so comforting and knowledgeable. She was telling me how she and my makeup person will work on a schedule with the photographer and how she will help to ensure that my day runs smooth.
