Can someone - anyone - please help me find roses that look like peonies? Or, *any* flower that looks like a peony?? I so wanted peonies as my bo-k but they are not available during my time of the year...

I think Hydrangea looks like peonies and there are garden roses wich are fragrent and have a ruffled look like peonies

As far as I know, hydrangeas look nothing like peonies.
How about tea roses?

Peonies are gorgeous but only available for a very short time in the spring. I think ranunculus looks like a cross between a peony and a rose...

I do like ranunculus and had planned on using them in the other bo-k's...I also agree, I don't think hydrangea look like peonies...but thank you so much!!!

Jenny - that was the exact rose that I had in mind. My mom has that rose in our garden yet I didnt know the name - so great that you had a pic!!

Colleen, Uh oh...did I give John agita over my flower selection? The poor man!
The rose I posted is what they call an 'English', 'Old' or 'Antique' rose (or like Lauren sais 'Garden'.) That's what I'm using in my bouquet. Here's a pic:

Jenny - NO! He mentioned no such thing...he was 'referencing' you b/c of my request for peonies...and how you were getting married in Sept also and that I should check out your flowers!
Your bo-k is GORGEOUS! I'll have to do a search and find out what colors these roses come in. Thank you so much!!
