Roslyn Country Club

I really liked the atmosphere but have read bad reviews on this board. It will be a afternoon reception for 50 people. What are your thoughts? greatly appreciated Alos has anyone had a wedding ceremony held at the duck pond? Or does anyone know of a area to have a outdoor ceremony or non-denominational church wedding nearby the Roslyn Club? Thanks!

Don't worry it will be lovely...

I looked there and I thought the place was very elegant... I asked people about the place and I found two people who had been to weddings there and loved it. (Especially for a small quaint wedding) Good Luck - You could find bad stories about every place out there (trust me)

I would keep looking (long)

I looked there, and heard some pretty bad stories from just about everyone I spoke with. I agree with the other poster about people complaining about anything, but the comments I heard on RCC were bad - the manager getting drunk at the reception, forgetting the cake, double booking events - it`s not worth the headache. Try doing a search on this board, and check the Better Business Bureau before making any decisions.

Roslyn Country Club

I went there to check it out for my wedding. I thought it was a country club I had been to years earlier for an anniversary party, but realized when I got there that it wasn't the same place. We had a 10:00 a.m. appointment and the guy was drunk! I wouldn't trust my money with this place. And I thought the place looked a little run down. I would keep looking.
