Rough day

Hello ladies! I just needed to vent about my day (and night). I think I have mentioned that my FI has been very sick. He was diagnosed with testicular cancer after suffering strange pain in Oct. Since then, he has had 2 surgeries. One to remove one testicle and the other to remove lymph nodes after the cancer spread. Needless to say, I am always on edge whenever he expresses pain or discomfort. FI just went for his 1st post-op CT scan to see if the cancer is gone (he'll have to do this every other month for the next year). Well, last night, he was in excruciating pain. After fighting with him, I convinced him to go to the ER. I brought him to NYU, which is where he had the surgery. We spent all night there. THe doctors thought it was a bowel obstruction but luckily all the tests said otherwise. The doctors couldn't find anything physically wrong with him. FI was able to sleep in the hospital. However, I could not. We came home and passed out (FI is still asleep!). I cannot tell you how scared I was. Things like this make me realize how strong our love is and how lucky I am to have him in my life. It's been a really rough few months, but I wouldn't trade places with anyone. I am 100% sure that we can get through anything and everything. We did receive good news in the hospital that we would have had to wait until Tues. to hear. The CT scan showed nothing! So, thus far, FI is cancer free!!
Sorry to ramble. I just needed a place to vent. Thanks for listening, ladies. It means a lot to me!

I'm sorry you have had such a rough few days I'm glad you have gotten good news so far. I hope everything goes well on Tuesday.

I'mn sorry to hear that. I hope he feels better and the cancer is gone.

I am so sorry that you have been having a very rough time. i will pray for you and your husband and i hope that better times are ahead of you.

I'm so sorry. Cancer is a rough thing, but my cousin had it and my Grandma had it and both are doing fine now. Just hang it there. I know you must be on edge as I would be too.

Just know you always have us LIW girls to fall on.

Im so sorry you both have to go through such a horrible thing and anytime you need an ear just FM me. I hope all works out in the future and Im glad you were able to pull something positive out of this situation. I hope FH realizes how lucky he is
