Who has been there? I may be changing my ST Lucia plans lol just because its much easier to get to Mexico. Im only concerned about the beach erosion ... any ideas ladies???

I was there and the place was absolutely georgeous. The beach was really nice. The food was out of this world. It is very fine dining.
The only negative to this place is that there is not a lot of night life or nightly entertainment.

That's where we're going! Go to tripadvisor, I got all of my best info from there. I'm concerned about the beach also, though. We're doing 4 days at RH, then hopping over for another 10 days at Grand Xcaret so we can have more of a night life and just change it up a bit. Everyone LOVES Royal Hideaway, it's hard to find anything 'bad' about it, but I think if you want a night life, you should look into what's around the resort. (that's what we're gonna do )

I was looking into RH for our honeymoon. So far we decided against it. Everyone says it is amazing and it really does look incredible. What got us were the Sand Bags on the beach. FH and I are beach people (vs. pool people) and we didn't want to pay all that $$ for no beach. Most people said it didn't bother them, but the bags are HUGE. If you look on tripadvisor the photos show the beach with the bag.
They ARE supposed to be fixed by March, but so far I don't know if it has been.
