Re: royalton: hotel
Try the Wingate Inn in Garden City...I think they offer shuttle service. My guests stayed at the Holiday Inn in Westbury and the Hilton Garden Inn in Westbury (neither of which offer shuttle service).

You could also try the Inn at Great Neck. It's five min from the Claremont.

Re: royalton: hotel
i stayed at the wingate inn (which just changed it's name) when i went to a wedding at the swan club, which is in the same area as the royalton. i don't know if the hotel offers a shuttle b/c the bride and groom had a bus rented for the guests already.

Re: royalton: hotel
We booked a block of rooms at the Inn at Great Neck- not substantially cheaper than Roslyn Claremont, but its a nice hotel anyway

Re: royalton: hotel
I booked rooms at the LaQuinta Inn and Suites (formerly the Wingate). The person I am dealing with there is SO nice. Her name is Makeda.
I was very turned off by the Rosyln Claremont hotel. No one was returning my calls. I acually had to call the general manager to see what the group rate would be because no one would call me back or ever answer the phone. The GM there said I would not have to guarantee rooms but then the Director of Sales insisted I would have too. Not worth the agrivation as far as I am concerned.
I am happy with the service from Makeda, she makes me feel comfortable. I am providing a party bus to and from the RH for out of town guests. For every 15 rooms booked, the hotel does provide you with a shuttle but I did a party coach through my limo company.
Good luck!!

I think that I am going to book the quinta inn-(it was the wingate inn in Garden City on Stewart Ave) Tito one of the owners of the Royalton said that they bus the guests to the Royalton back and forth.
