Royalton in Rosyln

Anyone have experience at The Royalton in Roslyn? Reviews on food/experience etc? Trying to decide between this and Tappan Hill in Westchester. Thanks!

Royalton in Rosyln - Long Island Weddings

One of my best friends got married at the Royalton in 2011. It was a great wedding her room looked beautiful and I don't remember not liking anything about it.

my parents enjoyed their friend's wedding at the royalton a few years ago. the TONH owns it now though, and being a former employee there, I wouldn't book a wedding there now that they own it lol. I feel like it's kind of hurt the venue a bit since they took ownership... same thing happened with harbor links

i think that place is so beautiful! but you can only use their house florist (choice of 2) and supposedly they're REALLY expensive .. just some info for ya

I went to a wedding there is June. It was pretty and the food was pretty good. I was only disappointed with their cocktail hour, but I think they made up for it during the vieneese hour. The room was beautiful.

I haven't been to an event there but it was my top choice for a venue! It was out of my price range but I absolutely LOVE it!

I'm getting married there in April! OBSESSED!!! The staff is so beyond helpful it's not normal, and you get a LOT for the price!! They provide you basically with anything you want food wise. You customize it to your liking. My tasting is next Wednesday, so I'll tell you how my pick of a cornish hen turns out

I've heard amazing things from former Royalton Brides as well, and the house vendor florist thing is annoying, but they HAVE to work with you on price.. and I have also heard of Royalton brides using different florists..

Royalton in Rosyln - Long Island Weddings

I went to a wedding there in August and it was beautiful!! The food was delicious and everything was great but I know that my friend paid A LOT for it - I believe around $200pp.

Oh, word on the street is the food is insane! When we went to get tuxes, the salesman helping us was telling us how his 2nd daughter is getting married there this June. His oldest daughter got married there and they loved it so much they are doing the younger daughter there too.

Also, a good friend of mine, her family is basically off the boat from Italy, and you know Italian people with their food ( I can say that cause I'm italian ) Anyway, her sister got married there 5 years ago and her family still raves about the food!

This was one of my top choices, but it is very expensive and they do not negotiate. I was quoted $210pp with 150 min with a wedding less than 6 months away. You get a lot of extras at this venue so if you have the money it is worth looking into.
