Hi! I was wondering if anyone has ever negotiated their rate with Royalton Mansion? I had a chance to check them out last week and absolutely loved it there! Unfortunately the rate they gave me is a bit high and out of my budget. I'm looking to have a Sunday daytime wedding sometime in October of next year with around 150-170 ppl, the price per person they're asking for is 130.00. I was hoping to negotiate to 100 per person but I'm not sure if that's reasonable or not. Any advice/tips/suggestions would be great. Thanks!

I was able to negotiate a few dollars (like $3). Didn't wind up going with them though... FM me if you have any questions!!

Re: Royalton Mansion Negotiable?
I'm getting married there and they went down $10, but only when I guaranteed a higher minimum. So you might want to see what their prices would be for certain thresholds. BUT, I highly doubt they'll go down to $100...

Re: Royalton Mansion Negotiable?
They quoted me $180 for a saturday in October!! Big difference! I would say try and get extra thrown in or try to gaurantee more people.

Re: Royalton Mansion Negotiable?
When I visited there they said they were very firm on price
i doubt any hall not just them would come down to 100 from 130
as far as getting things thrown in theres not much to throw in everything is included!
but listen it cant hurt to try...times are rough
but be prepared to get up and walk away if they dont come down
they might budge after they see they are losing business

I got up and walked away and it didn't really matter. They never followed up... Just letting you know my experience!

Yeah I don't think they'll care if you walk away...it seems that they book up pretty quickly since it's a popular place.

Re: Royalton Mansion Negotiable?
Thanks for all your replies!! When I met with the banquet manager he mentioned he could give me a better price if I guarentee 150 ppl but didn't specifically say how much, but based on everyone's response it probably won't be too much of a discount
