I can't decide between the Royalton in Roslyn and the Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage...
Anyone been to affairs at either that has any opinions??

I hear great things about Carlyle on the Green. My sister's friend got married there and she said it was beautiful!!! I don't know much about the Royalton though sorry!

My MOH went to a batmitzvah in COTG and she wasnt a big fan of the food, also when i called there to make an appointment i was talking to them about pricing and they said to me 'Well we cater to a very specific audience and maybe we're not the right place for you, but I'm sure there's somewhere out the in your price range.'
I WAS SOOOOOOO PIIIIIIIIIIISSED!!! I was ready to be like GFY!!!
Plus my company monitors the air at the LANDFILL/SUPERFUND SITE right next door....i say Royalton
JMHO- sorry Carlysle brides...i had a BAD experience with them...

lol might be bias cause i'm going to get married there...lol
but I had gone to check out Carlyle because my parents accountants daughter had her wedding there which they attended. my parents had told me that people didnt fit in cocktail hour room and people were hanging out in the hall way.- so that ******.... also brides dad was complaining left and right about how they werent doing this and that correctly. Although the main room was beautiful we didnt want our guests to be cramed during cocktail hour.
My vote is for the royalton... everytime i go anyway- vendors/fortunoffs/peoples... i hear nothing but amazing things about how good the people are and that you have nothing to worry about. thats really important!!!

Thats good to know about COTG because I thought it was gorgeous and they were very nice to us when we visited. Truthfully they were asking for $185 pp! Which I found crazy! I havent been to the Royalton but it sounds amazing!

One of my BM's got married at the Carlyle. It was serioulsy one of the best weddings I have ever been to. I was a BM in her wedding and the staff there was nothing but amazing. Her bridal attendant got me batteries when my camera ran out!! They serioulsy went above and beyond any expectations.
We took most of our pictures overlooking the golf course, we didn't have to go anywhere else to take pictures too. That was huge.
Their 1-year anniversary is coming up in a couple weeks and they sent them a certificate for an anniversary dinner. I thought that was very sweet.
I have never been to the Royalton though. I can't compare the two. Sorry.
