Tomorrow is the day that I'm going in to book my venue. I'm in between Royalton and DeSeversky, but will ultimately choose the Royalton. I just keep going back and forth between the two so was wondering if anyone had any last reviews/recommendation for either. I'm a smaller wedding, about 125 people, so I can fit nicely in either venue. I love everything the Royalton has to offer, but can't get over how beautiful the grounds are for DeSeversky. That's really what I'm battling between. It's going to be the same exact price for me too so that doesn't help me make the decision.
TIA for any help you can give :)

Royalton v DeSeversky
I almost chose De Seversky as well... but i have a big party and it wouldn't fit right and we didn't want to the euro style. A high school friend had hers there and loved it but she did feel like they were controlling and didn't let her change things at all. My mother's uncle's grandson got married there just last month and her uncle said that the mosquitoes were TERRIBLE, so if you do choose them, make sure they spray for the summer (if you're looking at that time of year)
We ended up going with the Woodlands and are very happy with our choice. Have you checked it out at all?
I've never been to De Seversky so I can't offer any recommendations for or against it. However, FH's sister got married at the Royalton a few years ago and it was magnificent! They did their pictures on the grounds and they came out beautiful. They had a big wedding too (closer to 200) but you never felt squished. Everybody had a really great time there, so I don't think you can go wrong there!

im sure noone has driven de seversky crazier than me... they've been soooo incredibly accommodating to my numerous calls/emails. i have nothing bad to say about them at all - they've gone above and beyond for me! good luck - i think either one would be beautiful - but my vote is obviously de seversky :)

I visited both, and that's exactly why I didn't choose DeSeversky also. I LOVED both places but I didn't want a euro style at DeSeversky, and we have a pretty large number so I was worried about the Royalton being too cramped for us. With your number, I'd be thrilled with either, they're both gorgeous. One point for the DeSeversky is the beautiful grounds for pictures. I have heard great things about the food at the Royalton. So you really can't go wrong! Good luck!
