Royalty Limo

Did they give anyone else the run around.

I am trying to quote them since they are a proffered vendor of the RH. And they told me that they would give me a good deal bc of it. I have been emailing Joe back and forth , he tells me to call him after 5 yesterday , so i call him he wasn't available and some other guy calls me back and says we have to make an appointment they dont quote over the phone ***!

They were VERY rude to me on the phone, I was very unhappy with the experience I had with them, and I decided to go elsewhere. I booked with Camelot the following day and had a much more positive experience.

I don't get these vendors. Not just your vendor but vendors in general. !st the give you the run around and than they don't want to understand you have a busy schudele and don;t have the time to travel all over god green earth for them to tell you is cost your arm, leg, and your FH left nut!!

I didn't have a problem with them. We went in person to look at the cars and initially just booked the antique car that we wanted. Later, we called and added the other limos we needed.

LOL! Not to hijack the OP's thread, but isn't Paul the best? Have you done your engagement pics yet?

I'm so flattered that they put our thank you up on the wall! It's the little things that make my day.

Re: Royalty Limo

So I booked with Royalty because they gave me the best price by far but talk to more than 1 person because I definitely got the run around and they tried to rip me off!

My fiance and I met with one of the women there and she said that for my 12 person bridal party they only had a 22 passenger escalade available on my day which was about $400 more than the 14 passenger stretch limo i wanted. After calling around to different companies, I called back Royalty and spoke to Joe who told me 'absolutely we have the 14 passenger limo available!' She clearly held out on me so I would rent the more expensive car. But in the end I got 2 limos, no tax, and it was under $1000.

So just be careful because they absolutely tried to screw me over, but I'm in Valley Stream so their proximity was important to me and no one has ever complained about them on the day of their wedding. Plus their showroom is right there so you can see the cars.

Good luck!

They do not quote over the phone but they will give you an amazing deal...at least that was my experience. They were wonderful to work with the day of my wedding. My Dad is difficult to please and he gave the drivers an additional tip b/c he felt they went above and beyond what was necessary.

we used them and we got a great deal and the day of the wedding they bumped us up from a 30 pass party bus to a 40 for free!!!!!

they were great!!!!

Several times wtih Royalty, I'd get a call in the middle of the day and he would ask if it was OK to call back after work... and then he wouldn't call.

and then when he does call, I got attitude cause I couldn't talk in the middle of the day.

I got a quote from them on the phone, not sure why people are saying they dont do this. I never met Joe or anyone from Royalty but clearly I got price quotes for all the cars and booked everything over the phone.

I'm getting the Bentley from them and may add an 8 passenger limo later on depending on how large a bridal party I have by wedding day.

We are booked with them and have had a pretty pleasant experience thus far! It is cool to check out the cars that are all right in the attached showroom and the prices were def the best! Have only heard good things about their day of service....

i used them for my wedding and they were great. i had no problems. i went and met with them on a monday night they showed me all the different cars that i was interested in (i couldn't make up my mind between a hummer, an escalade and a limo bus). i ended up going with the bus. i also ended up adding a regular 8 pass lincoln for my parents, and they gave me a great deal on that. on the day of the wedding the limos showed up very early (that's not a bad thing) and they were fantastic setting up everything for church.

i was also in a bridal party on saturday and they used royalty. they were great.

Re: Royalty Limo

To elaborate on what I wrote above... From what I know of them, they do an absolutely amazing job on the day of the wedding. My cousin used them and I was in the bridal party and they could not have been nicer, they arrived early, and just all around wonderful to work with. And, I think their prices are among the lowest out there.

Unfortunately, the guy was flat out rude and totally awful to me on the phone, and upset me, and pretty much told me I shouldn't bother coming in to meet with them. I asked if I could come in for an appt, he kind of rudely asked me where my wedding was (he had a very abrupt way of speaking that bordered on nasty), and when he asked what kinds of cars we were interested in, I told him I wasn't sure but that I liked the idea of the classic car for me and FH and a party bus or large limo for the BP... he responded, 'I am not sending one of the classic cars out there, it's just too far, I won't do it.' (The wedding and reception are 45 min-1 hr apart.) Then he was like, 'I'll just send you something about the cars we have instead' - wouldn't give me an appt, and then never sent me the information.

I went in to Camelot the next day and we discussed the car thing, he VERY NICELY explained that it would be far for the old car because they tend to be less reliable so we decided we would use that just for the way TO the church... I mean, it took 20 seconds of conversation, there was no dismissing of my business involved, that's how you speak to a person, you don't tell them 'don't come in' because I was INTERESTED in a car he thought wouldn't work. Like I said, Royalty did a great job for my cousin's wedding, but even if they were less expensive than Camelot I wouldn't book with them just on principle.

i booked w/ them, and the guy was kinda rude that we met with, but i didn't care, the price was too great to pass up. Plus they did my sister's wedding and the drivers showed up on time and were really helpful w/ everything.
