Royalty Limos

Hey girls...

Just a little heads up...I used Royalty for my wedding three weeks ago. I am not bashing them or saying anything bad. They were all at my house on time and catered to our every need. BUTTT make sure EVERYTHING is cut and dry and detailed on your contract. And make sure you have everything set in stone the week before your wedding. The people that work there are good but the owner Joe is not the savviest of business men.We had a contract with them that should have been $125 for overtime and he reneged on it saying it was for our original contract…meanwhile, that was our original! And he also said since my friend worked there previously he would keep it at that rate. The reason we went an hour over is because the drivers decided to take the back streets of bklyn at 5pm rush hour and we told them to take the service road of the belt. We ended up being really late to the photo shoot at the OWG and only ended up being there for about 45mins max. In addition, in the contract it said we had a car to take us to the airport. I spoke to one of the girls there during the week and she said to call on Sat. When I spoke to Joe on Sat to set it up he told me they don’t do airport service anymore!!! My DH flipped our and said some not so nice things while he was on the phone, he called back and said “oh, its in your contract if you still want it”. AH!

So just a little warning before hand for any of you girls. I also know MANY people who used them and had no problem.....

It's important to share these experiences. I was also told that they don't do airport runs. I'm sorry they gave you a headache on your big day!

Grrr!!!! I have them booked and in my contract they indicated that they can take me to the airport. I'm sure I'll be on their case about my limos, etc.

Yea. Im sure they will do it..you just have to be on top of them about it...especially if its in the contract....

My sister used Royalty in 2007. They came on time and did a great job, but I remember my mom being sooooo pissed at them. (My sister was busy studying for the bar exam so my mom did a lot of communication with vendors.) Whenever she called them and interacted with them they were SO rude to her, like obnoxiously rude. I remember her wanting to not have them because of their attitudes. Also, she asked for a runner for the church and they charged her $100 and I think that it was on the contract. Don't quote me on the contract breaking, but I know for sure they are RUDE.

i did not get the car to the airport in my contract either. in fact they left a limo off entirely and then i flipped and had them send me a new contract. hopefully all goes well.
